Hi, I’m Nat, the founder of Lescent.

I started Lescent in late 2024 from my tiny garage. What began as a small weekend project to escape corporate burnout slowly grew into something much bigger. Today, Lescent candles live in hundreds of homes across Australia.

Lighting a candle was one of the few ways I could truly slow down. But most candles frustrated me. They melted into messy shapes, wasted wax, or came with strong scents I didn’t choose. I wanted a candle that stayed beautiful, burned cleanly, and let me decide how my space should feel.

So I created one.

The name Lescent is inspired by the French phrase “le scent”(meaning “the scent”), a tribute to how deeply scent is tied to memory, mood, and emotion. Our candles are unscented by design, giving you the freedom to customise each burn with your own essential oils. One candle can feel calming one night and uplifting the next.

Our signature pearled wax resets after every burn, so your candle always looks new. No misshapen wax. No mess. Just something you’ll actually want to light again.
